Foie Gras, a french dish made from inflammed duck and geese livers, was the target of this Valentine's Day demonstration at Baum Vivant in Oakland. Activists from Voices for Animal Liberation distributed the following literature to passerbys and customers.

The dish is made in a cruel and abusive process that involves animals being force-fed several pounds of food a day into their stomachs, treatment that is so offensive that Foie Gras production has been outlawed in several countries around the world.
